Pre-purchase (SNOW⁺ Self-Cleaning Litter Box)
Does SNOW⁺ require special litter?
SNOW⁺ operates efficiently with clumping litter. We advise using a premium, standard-weight, clay-based
clumping litter. Additionally, you can use certain silica gel litter beads and crystals with SNOW⁺ as long
as they can pass through the screen. Plant-based alternatives may also be compatible, but they often
produce less compact clumps that might lead to moisture accumulation in the waste drawer. When opting for
a plant-based litter with SNOW⁺, consider more frequent waste drawer emptying and cleaning. Litters that
are not suitable for SNOW⁺ include those designed solely for absorption, non-clumping or those with loose
clumping properties, newspaper-based options, and absorbent wood pellet litter.
How many cats can use SNOW⁺?
We recommend having up to 4 indoor cats using a single SNOW⁺ unit; however, some of our customers have
more cats and still use just one unit. Here's a general guideline: with one cat using SNOW⁺, you may need
to empty the waste drawer every 2 weeks. For two cats, it might be once a week, and for three cats, twice
a week, and so forth. SNOW⁺ features an expanded waste drawer for greater waste capacity, reducing the
frequency of emptying. SNOW⁺ initiates a cleaning cycle 4 minutes after each use, but if another cat
interrupts this period, the timer will reset for another 4 minutes, potentially leaving waste in the
litter for more than 4 minutes. Having too many cats per SNOW⁺ unit may result in the litter not being
completely clean for the next use.
Will my cat actually go inside the globe?
Cats are naturally inquisitive and tend to explore new objects. If your cat is accustomed to a covered
litter box, they might adapt more quickly to SNOW⁺. We recommend initially keeping SNOW⁺ turned off while
your cat gets used to it. Place SNOW⁺ in the same spot as your old litter box. You can keep the old litter
box nearby for a short period. Take a cup of litter from the old box and mix it with the clean litter in
SNOW⁺. This will provide a familiar scent, encouraging your cat to investigate. Once your cat steps inside
and feels the litter, they should instinctively know what to do. For further guidance on

Can kittens use SNOW⁺ ?
Kittens weighing 3.3 pounds or more can safely use SNOW⁺ in automatic mode. For kittens below this weight
threshold, turn off automatic cleaning and opt for "semi-automatic" mode. To do this, deactivate automatic
cleaning in the PetSnowy APP and manually initiate the cleaning process pressing the clean button or the
App once or twice daily (ensure the kitten is not inside the machine when pressing the button). This
approach ensures your kitten's safety during their early encounters with SNOW⁺, while also relieving you
of the need to manually scoop the litter box.
What are the dimensions for the litter box?

Does SNOW⁺ assist with cats that spray very high?
Yes, SNOW⁺ is an excellent solution for cats that spray or have high-aiming habits. The design of the unit
is well-suited to handle such situations. The globe is protected by a durable, impermeable flexible liner.
If any liquid manages to reach above the halfway mark, it will simply drip or drain down to the liner and
then into the litter, without collecting or pooling. This will result in a clump forming at the edge of
the litter bed, which will be removed during the cleaning cycle when the globe liner peels off. If your
cat consistently sprays, you may need to clean the interior of the globe more frequently to remove any
residue. For a thorough cleaning, you can easily remove the entire globe. Our globe is designed with a
magnetic attachment, making it a quick one-second process to take it out for cleaning.
Does SNOW⁺ have a weight limit?
Literally saying, SNOW⁺ doesn't have a weight limit, but we recommend it for cats weighing less than 20
lbs (9 kg) for the best comfort of your feline friend.
What is the TiO2 deodorization system?
The combination of a TiO2 system and UV light is commonly referred to as a photocatalyst. TiO2 is an
initials for photocatalyst, a nano-scale semiconductor material that deodorizes and dissolves hazardous
compounds in the air while remaining kitten-safe. UV light is used in conjunction with our TiO2 system to
improve bacteria and virus deodorization and breakdown. The duel will begin only once the cat has left
after using the toilet. The UV light is used to activate TiO2 and sterilize. It only works when cat leaves
and is never directly exposed to the walkway, making it completely safe for the cat.
Does SNOW⁺ require special trash bags?
The self-sealing feature is just one of the numerous advantages our device offers. While there are
alternative options (such as diy bags), we suggest using our
SNOW⁺ Waste Drawer Liners
for optimal performance. These liners are engineered for use with the waste drawer and its self-sealing
function, ensuring durability and strength to handle various types of cat waste.
How frequently should I empty the waste drawer?
The frequency of emptying the waste drawer depends on the number and size of your cats. SNOW⁺ features an
enlarged waste drawer, so you may only need to empty it once every two weeks for one cat, once a week for
two cats, twice a week for three cats, and so forth.
Can SNOW⁺ help minimize litter tracking?
Absolutely, SNOW⁺ comes with a litter mat that will be placed at the walkway of the litter box's entrance.
With SNOW⁺'s unique entrance design and the assistance of the litter mat, it can significantly reduce most
litter tracking issues. The litter mat is easily removable and easy to clean, or you can choose to pour
the litter from the mat back into the globe for continued use.
How much litter should I add to SNOW⁺?
Fill the globe with litter until it reaches the max fill line on the rubber globe liner when it's spread
flat. This is approximately 10 pounds of clumping litter (4.8 kg), 5 pounds of tofu litter (2.4 kg) by
weight, or 1 gallon (4L) by volume. Be cautious not to overfill the globe. Since the waste clumps are
removed during each cycle, there's no need to use an excessive amount of litter in the globe.
How frequently should I refill litter in SNOW⁺?
SNOW⁺ is highly efficient in its litter usage due to its patented sifting system, which only removes the
clumps. We suggest verifying the litter level in comparison to the maximum fill line (found on the globe's
rubber liner) each time you empty the waste drawer. This typically occurs about once every two weeks for a
single cat or once a week for households with multiple cats. Ensure not to overfill the globe.
Is Pretty Litter compatible with SNOW⁺?
Litter beads and crystals, as long as they are small enough to pass through the screen, like Pretty
Litter, can be used with SNOW⁺. Nevertheless, we recommend utilizing a high-quality, clay-based clumping
litter for optimal performance.
How long will a Robertet® fragrance box last?
One
Robertet® fragrance box
is designed to last for 30 days. When it is depleted, the app will send a notification to switch
fragrances.
Is it possible to use SNOW+ without the fragrance box?
The
Robertet® fragrance box
we offer is specifically formulated to neutralize thiols and cyclohexylamine found in cat urine without
generating any ozone. However, if you are sensitive to smells, you have the option to remove the
fragrance. In fact, even if you choose to use it, the scent is barely noticeable unless you bring your
nose close to the entrance. To remove the fragrance, simply detach the fragrance box from the deodorizer
box cover.
Will the globe rotate while my cat is inside?
No, the globe will remain stationary while your cat is inside. SNOW⁺ features SnowSafe⁺ technology,
including a weight sensor, an anti-pinch system, and safety app notifications, which detect your cat each
time they enter or re-enter the globe. This resets the countdown timer, ensuring that the cleaning cycle
won't start for another 4 minutes.
Are there any rakes or wires inside the globe?
No, there are no rakes or wires inside the globe that could potentially harm your cat. SNOW⁺ has been
carefully designed with your cat's safety as a top priority.
What happens if my cat tries to enter the globe while it is rotating?
SnowSafe⁺ technology will detect your cat, causing the globe to stop immediately. The cycle will not
resume until 15 seconds after the cat is no longer detected. If your cat or another object continues to
trigger the sensor, SNOW⁺ will not restart the cleaning cycle. Instead, a series of lights will flash, and
the app will send notifications to indicate the issue. You can refer to the Instruction Manual for
troubleshooting common problems, and our Customer Experience team is available to assist as needed.
If I have multiple cats, how do I know which cat is using the SNOW⁺?
Inside the PetSnowy app, you have the option to set a unique Pet ID for each cat. SNOW+ will be able to
distinguish between the cats by recording their weight readings.
What type of power supply does SNOW⁺ require? How much power does SNOW⁺ consume?
SNOW⁺ is compatible with both 110V and 220V currents. Please use the included power supply with the unit.
SNOW⁺ has a very low power consumption, using only 1.83 kWh per month.
How to clean SNOW⁺?
Kindly refer to our

for cleaning instructions. Cleaning the entire equipment should take no more than 15 minutes. It is
important to note that this thorough cleaning process is generally not required on a daily basis, but
rather every few months. SNOW+ is designed for easy disassembly, featuring a magnetic attachment system
that simplifies the process. We suggest cleaning the litter box every two months when using clay clumping
litter. For silica gel and crystal litter, it is recommended to clean the litter box on a monthly basis.

How do I set up my SNOW⁺?
When you receive the SNOW⁺, it comes already assembled. You just need to place the fragrance box and
litter mat into the litter box. Then, follow the quick guide to connect the litter box with the PetSnowy
app, and you and your furry friend are ready to use it.
My cat doesn't use a litter box, what should I do?
If your cat is having trouble adapting to using the SNOW⁺, it can be frustrating. Don't worry, here are
some tips to help your cat adjust to the new litter box:
Place the SNOW⁺ in the same location as the old litter box and arrange the surroundings accordingly.
Power off the SNOW⁺ and use it as a regular open litter box by removing its top cover until your cat
makes more attempts.
Add all the used litter from the old litter box into the new SNOW⁺ to help familiarize your cat with
it.
Reduce the frequency of cleaning the old litter box to make it less appealing.

How do I set the automatic cleaning time?
The automatic cleaning time refers to the waiting period after the cat exits the SNOW⁺ before the
automatic cleaning starts. By default, this time is set to 4 minutes. The automatic cleaning time setting
depends on the clumping time of the litter you are using. It is recommended to adjust the waiting time
based on the specific clumping characteristics of your litter. This will ensure that the clumps have
enough time to form before the automatic cleaning process begins. By customizing the waiting time, you can
optimize the cleaning performance of SNOW⁺.
How long does the manual deodorization last?
The manual deodorization function lasts for 30 minutes and cannot be interrupted unless the device is
powered off. If you prefer a shorter deodorization time, you can use the PetSnowy app to set the
deodorization cycle to at least 1 minute. This customized feature allows you to adjust the deodorization
time according to your preferences.
Why is there waste left behind after the SNOW⁺ automatic cleaning?
To ensure that the waste has enough time to harden and form larger clumps, you can adjust the automatic
cleaning time to a longer duration. While our standard filter works well for most adult cats, if your cat
or its waste size is particularly small, small clumps may escape through the filtering holes. In such
cases, our
mini-mesh filter
can provide you with the best cleaning experience. This additional accessory will help prevent any clumps
from bypassing the filtration system and improve the overall performance of the SNOW⁺.
SNOW⁺ automatic Pet Feeder
How much food does SNOW⁺ feeder dispense every time?
In the app, you have the option to customize the amount of food dispensed by the feeder. You can dispense
food between 1 and 20 portion. Each portion of the food is approximately equivalent to one-third of an
ounce or 8 grams. It’s important to note that the actual weight of each portion may vary depending on the
density of the cat food, you can dispense a portion and weigh it for a more precise measurement of the
amount of food being dispensed by the feeder.
What size of food can be dispensed from the feeder?
The feeder is designed to dispense food ranging from 5mm to 15mm in size. This ensures compatibility with
a variety of kibble sizes and shapes, providing flexibility in the types of food that can be used with the
feeder.
Will the feeder still dispense food if the power is cut off?
The feeder is designed to operate using 4 AA batteries, therefore it can function independently without
the power cord being plugged in. This feature enables you to use the feeder even if a power socket is not
readily available, making it convenient for outdoor and travel situations.
How should I set feed schedule for my cat?
Within the app, you have the ability to create multiple feeding schedules for each day. It's important to
ensure that you set each schedule to run daily, as failure to do so will result in missed feedings on the
days you haven't selected.
Can SNOW⁺ feeder hold wet food?
Please note that our feeder is specifically designed to accommodate dry food only. Using wet food may
result in the food sticking to the rotor, which can adversely affect the functionality of the feeder. We
recommend using dry food to ensure optimal performance and prevent any issues with food dispensing.
Will I receive a notification when there isn’t enough food in the feeder?
Yes, when there isn't enough food in the feeder, the light on the feeder will blink, and you will also
receive a notification on the app. This ensures that you are aware of the low food level and can refill
the feeder in a timely manner.

How frequently should I clean the fountain?
It is recommended to clean the fountain every 5-7 days. Please note that the base of the fountain can’t be
washed with water, the remaining parts can be water washed.
Does the fountain require special filter?
Yes, the SNOW⁺ fountain requires a specific size of filter to ensure proper functioning and maintain the
cleanliness and hygiene of the water. The special filter uses multiple purification methods to remove
impurities from the water, including adsorption of particles, deodorization, and removal of harmful
substances. Additionally, it utilizes plasma exchange resin biological filtration technology to soften
hard water, making it more palatable for your pets. Regular replacement of the filter ensures that the
fountain continues to provide clean and fresh water for your cats to drink.
How long will one filter last?
One filter is designed to last for one month. When replacing a new filter, remember to soak the filter in
water for five minutes and rinse it lightly before using it again. This helps maintain the cleanliness and
effectiveness of the filter in providing clean and fresh water for your cats.
Will I receive a notification when there isn’t enough water in the fountain?
Yes, you will receive a notification when there isn't enough water in the fountain. The indicator light on
the fountain will flash, and you will also receive a notification on your app indicating that the water
level is low. This helps you ensure that your pet always have an adequate supply of water and allows you
to refill the fountain in a timely manner.

If I need to return my PetSnowy product, how do I get a refund
PetSnowy products purchased directly through petsnowy.com may be returned within thirty (30) days of
receipt for a full refund. Kindly note that there will be shipping costs. If you shop on a different

If you’ve purchased your PetSnowy product through a third-party retailer, you must coordinate the return
directly with that retailer.
How do I obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number?

Do I need to clean my PetSnowy product before returning it?
Before returning your PetSnowy product, please give it a good cleaning.
Please note that products returned in an unclean state within the 30-day trial period may incur a $75
cleaning fee deducted from your refund.
When will I receive my refund?
After our warehouse receives your return and checks that everything is fine, we will apply for a refund
for you. Refunds will be issued based on the payment method used to make the contribution. It may take 3-5
business days to process for US payment methods, or 7-10 business days for international payment methods.

What is the PetSnowy warranty policy?
Every PetSnowy products comes with a 1-year standard manufacturer warranty at no cost. Our warranty plan
includes coverage for accidental damage, power surges, mechanical and electrical breakdowns, as well as
software support.
During the warranty period, we will resolve any product issues free of charge, including providing free
